Man, this is my least favorite Fleer design of the 1980's. I can't stand the border color. Although I do love the Superstar Specials.
How big were fun bags on the photographer for Davey to be caught in the headlights like that?
This set reminds me of '68 Topps. I remember buying a cello box of this and getting a complete set out of it. Fleer definitely had the best collation of the Big 3. If you bought a wax box you were pretty much guaranteed no doubles and a good start to a set.
Drab looking but one of my favorites growing up due to the rookies....
