David Wright: Flip--Flopper.

Oh sure, David Wright says "education has always been a priority." But on this issue, David Wright's just another flip-flopper.

David Wright was offered a full scholarship to attend Georgia Tech. But did he take it?

NO!

He sold out his principles and signed a $960,000 contract with the New York Mets.

Is this the kind of role model we want our children to emulate?

PUT OUR CHILDREN AHEAD OF GREED. VOTE "NO" ON DAVID WRIGHT.

Paid for by the Committee to Elect Pat Burrell to the All-Star Game; Chris Harris, Treasurer

Who needs an education when someone is willing to give you close to a million bucks to play baseball?

I would not vote for Wright, even though I am a Mets fan. Carlos Lee has my vote. He has the numbers to back me up.

Speaking of PAT, I was at a Phils game a few years ago and he could not have loafed more out in left field. It was ridiculous. Any comments on Burrell's lack of fielding effort?

If someone offers you a million dollars, you always take it. Always.

If he did turn out to be a bust, he could easily afford to go back to college to get his degree. And he would be a millionaire already.

Kids, learn your lesson. If a million is offered to you, take it.
