Vote NO! on Corey Hart.

Oh sure, Corey Hart may be leading the National League Final Vote standings. But what has he done this season to deserve it?

Brewer fans would have you believe that Corey Hart is worthy to represent the National League in the All-Star Game. But did you know that Hart has only 14 homers and an OPS only .852?

.852? For a National League All-Star?

Does an .852 OPS reflect your values?

Corey Hart: Wrong for the National League. Wrong for the All-Star Game. Wrong for baseball.

Wrong for America.

We need a National League All-Star who actually is in the top-five in homers, and has an OPS of just under 1.000.

We need a hitter who will stand up to the strong AL bullpen and deliver that clutch late-inning pinch hit.

We need a candidate who will make the National League proud and lead the NL to victory in the war on terror All-Star Game.

Pat Burrell: Because the National League, and America, can do better than Corey Hart.

Paid for by The Committee to Elect Pat Burrell to the All-Star Game; Chris Harris, Treasurer.

Pat also leads in VORP for the remaining OF. Personally, I think that is the best measure of this.

Holy crap! This made me laugh so loud that I was worried that my boss would hear me and suspect that I might be looking at something unrelated to work.

I had been voting for a third party candidate, Carlos Lee, for the N.L. But you may have convinced me to vote for Burrell. Or maybe I should vote for Corey Hart ... because I don't want the N.L. team to get a "clutch late-inning pinch hit" and possibly cost my Rays the home-field advantage in the World Series.

Pat may have good stats, however, Carlos Lee has a higher batting average by 13 points (.294 to .281) in nearly 50 more at bats, only has 1 less home run (21 v 22), and has 18 more RBI. So tell me how Pat's better than Carlos?

Ok, I wasn't going to vote at all, but holy shit the Burreck Patbama logo swung me. Cory Hart hit a monster home run off John Smoltz in a game I went to last year so fuck him anyway.

Bottom line is Corey Hart is by far better than anyone in that list. He is a total five tool player. Burrell hits for power and strikes out...at an alarming rate. Keep posting the web pages because I need a good laugh now and then. And please send me some of what you all are smoking because it must be some pretty good stuff to be thinking like you are. Good job Corey!! The other guys on the list couldn't hold your jock!!!!!!!!!
