Funny you mentioned Mike Boddicker signing free autographs. Back in the early 80's when you were allowed to loiter in the visiting teams hotel lobby here in Detroit...Mike Boddicker was one of THE NICEST guys in MLB. Both he and Cal Ripken signed countless autographs for my friends and I. The only nicer folks were the NHL players. All of them.
