I don't think it seems sad that it ends that way--it *is* sad.
I've been to all manner of conferences and trade shows for work for years, both as an exhibitor and an attendee. No matter how you slice it, the show partially fails when so much of it gets packed up hours before closing.
This show needs something more energetic than cheap baseball pants. Really, who would ever want that?
