i am curious about the 1:79 "base card variations" that are mentioned on the retail wrappers. is this one of those? i have also seen a pee wee reese base card but couldn't find it on any checklist. bugger.
I'm pretty sure that the base card variations are the Legends players like Ruth, etc. They are actually listed as 1:95 packs on the hobby product, so Topps isn't giving you any breaks.
