2012 Topps Baseball will be a "Game Changer"

The headline is a direct quote from Clay Luraschi at yesterday's Topps Meet-'n-Greet.

I'm still trying to determine if "game changer" is a good thing, or not.

Game Changer means we'll have new gimmicks that will be hot for a year and then completely run into the ground, beaten like a deadhorse, revived from the dead and then beaten again ... and again ... and again.

I don't have much hope for the Topps base set next year. Oh well.
