Video Box Break: 2009 Goudey Blaster

Yesterday was my birthday and I gave myself a present. Unfortunately, I picked a blaster of 2009 Goudey.

Someone probably searched and resealed the blaster. Maybe you should have taken the blaster back from where you bought it from.

That is so pathetic.

I would try taking it back, I actually opened a whole box of Topps Heritage, only to find the corners bent on almost every card and Wal Mart took it back.

dude ur kinda lucky i spent 100$ on cards and in all i was guranteed like 4 autos (retail) every pack was searched in the box and there were no autographs to be found. the company (donruss) didnt answer one of my phone calls or responded until i wasnt able to do anything about it. Target didnt even accept the box again

Perhaps Topps saw you ripping the competition Upper Deck, and will send along a belated birthday gift.

At least you had something good on TV. Love those old Astros uniforms.

I'm going with the searched-and-resealed theory too. The plastic came off way too easily...usually UD boxes required a little more work than Topps boxes.

But, LOL at 0:29...trying to ponder what series of circumstances could have led to this situation.

That sucks. I've been growing increasingly skeptical of retail packs lately - not that I've suspected foul play in anything I've opened, but pack searching seems to be getting more common by the day.

I'm really glad I found a good card shop near by so I don't have to shop (for cards) at Target any more. I haven't pulled any "hits" yet in a box I've purchased from my shop, but I'm chalking that up to the fact that there aren't any hits in '91 Score or '90 Topps.

Let us know if anything comes of this video. For now, let it serve as a warning to all honest collectors out there!

Well, next time, spend the cash on beer. At least then you'll know you'll be pissing money away. *nod*

You got the Hobby blaster. Hobby packs are $5 each so 4 packs would make a $20 blaster. Be thankful you had a 7.983% better chance at a Jonathan Niese autograph!

(Hope the rest of the birthday was happier)

Did you suddenly forget how much a FULL blaster is supposed to weigh?

By the way, good job holding back the smirk throughout the vid ;)
