This has nothing to do with baseball cards, but...

... I got accepted to grad school today.

Anybody know of any decent card shops in D.C.?

Congrats.

Marie knows a decent one in Baltimore. That's close. You should ask her about it.

congrats - and a fun hoop team to watch. I also noticed that this was posted on Patriots Day.

Congrats.

And, no, I don't know of a good card shop there, though I do know of a baseball team in desperate need of fans or even a mediocre player at just about any position.

Congrats for postponing your demise into adulthood. My advice for your grad school years:

1. Do enough studying to get by.
2. Make sure you take advantage of living in the DC area. Get on the Metro and go do all the dorky history stuff in the city. Go tour the monuments at night. Go on the U.S. Mint tour. Go to the Capitol. Try to go see a Supreme Court argument at least once. Go to the Smithsonian museums and the National Art Gallery. Go visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Go to the Mall on Saturday mornings and watch all the people playing softball. Take the Metro to the Pentagon and just look around the shops

I spent a semester in Washington in college and 24 years later there are so many things I wished I'd done while I was there and had the chance.... I know some of these things may not be there any longer, but use your imagination.

There's a small shop in the town of Occaquan. I don't remember what it's called, but it's inside another shop, downstairs. It's a small town, so any shop owner could probably tell you exactly where it is. It's not the best, but it's a card shop.
