ESPN's first video box break.

Recently, ESPN.com's Jim Caple went searching for a 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey, Jr. card. So, he went to a Seattle area card shop and found one, the old fashioned way...

... by ripping packs of 1989 UD and recording it on video! Enjoy.

Man, the way he was opening those packs was killing me. Jeez.

The very first pack of Upper Deck I bought I pulled a Griffey which I promptly traded for another pack.

Instant regret!

Griffey went on to be my favourite player and I remember trading all my Jerome Walton rookies for Griffey rookies with my friends.

Oh man do I agree with cardboardicons. Someone needs to educate him on the proper technique to open a pack so you don't damage every fricken card.
